# Timeline Maker vs Must

The clearest difference is rating: Timeline Maker at 4.5 against Must's 3.0. Timeline Maker also leads on ratings volume (13 vs 1) and iOS requirement (16.0 vs 26.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Timeline Maker sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per year and Must sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Timeline Maker holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Timeline Maker has 13 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Timeline Maker ships an update monthly, Must every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 8, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
