# Mind Master vs SkillMint

The clearest difference is ads: SkillMint at none against Mind Master's shown. SkillMint also leads on update cadence (every 4 days vs every 3 weeks). Mind Master's advantage is rating (4.3 vs 4.0) and ratings volume (34 vs 4). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Mind Master sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $1.49 per 7 days and SkillMint sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Mind Master holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Mind Master has 34 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 83% of Mind Master's written reviews are positive against 90% of SkillMint's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Mind Master ships an update every 3 weeks, SkillMint every 4 days. Both last shipped on November 5, 2026.
