# RandiGo vs Random Name Picker

The clearest difference is ads: Random Name Picker at none against RandiGo's shown. RandiGo's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs every 4 months) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. RandiGo sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Random Name Picker sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

RandiGo ships an update every 5 days, Random Name Picker every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
