# Mastermind vs Vision Builder

The clearest difference is rating: Vision Builder at 5.0 against Mastermind's 4.6. Mastermind's advantage is ratings volume (53 vs 1) and update cadence (monthly vs every 4 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Mastermind sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days and Vision Builder sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Vision Builder holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Mastermind has 53 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Mastermind ships an update monthly, Vision Builder every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
