# Progress Camera vs GridFix

The clearest difference is update cadence: GridFix at every 4 days against Progress Camera's every 18 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Progress Camera sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and GridFix sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Progress Camera ships an update every 18 months, GridFix every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
