# Crew vs Splitpay

The clearest difference is update cadence: Crew at weekly against Splitpay's every 3 weeks. Splitpay's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 16.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Crew sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Splitpay sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Crew ships an update weekly, Splitpay every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 29, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
