# Lasso vs Rabid App

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Lasso at none against Rabid App's 1. Lasso also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 5 days vs every 4 weeks). On price, rating, review sentiment and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Rabid App sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $49.99 per year. Lasso asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Lasso against 5.0 for Rabid App. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Lasso has 28 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two.
