# SwipeFlix Picks vs HookReels

The clearest difference is ads: HookReels at none against SwipeFlix Picks's shown. SwipeFlix Picks's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs every 4 days). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SwipeFlix Picks sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and HookReels sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SwipeFlix Picks ships an update every 2 days, HookReels every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on November 5, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
