# Holidate vs WidgetBlocks

The clearest difference is rating: WidgetBlocks at 5.0 against Holidate's 4.0. WidgetBlocks also leads on ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Holidate sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and WidgetBlocks sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
