# Random Reminder vs ChoiceField

The clearest difference is update cadence: ChoiceField at every 2 days against Random Reminder's weekly. Random Reminder's advantage is device support (4 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Random Reminder sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and ChoiceField sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.00 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Random Reminder ships an update weekly, ChoiceField every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
