# A vs Hanashi

The clearest difference is ads: Hanashi at none against A's shown. Hanashi also leads on update cadence (every 8 days vs every 3 weeks). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. A sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $0.69 per 7 days and Hanashi sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

A ships an update every 3 weeks, Hanashi every 8 days. Both last shipped on October 30, 2026.
