# Switch Hit vs Matcha

The clearest difference is ads: Matcha at none against Switch Hit's shown. Matcha also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.4). Switch Hit's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs every 2 weeks). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Switch Hit sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $14.99 per year and Matcha sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Switch Hit ships an update every 5 days, Matcha every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
