# Folder vs Keep it

The clearest difference is ads: Folder at none against Keep it's shown. Folder also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks). Keep it's advantage is device support (3 vs 1). On price, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Folder sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per month and Keep it sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Folder ships an update weekly, Keep it every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
