# Fraction Calculator₊ vs Jot

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Jot at none against Fraction Calculator₊'s 1. Fraction Calculator₊'s advantage is ratings volume (16 vs 1) and update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 4 months). On price, rating, ads and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Fraction Calculator₊ sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Jot asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Fraction Calculator₊ against 5.0 for Jot. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Fraction Calculator₊ has 16 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
