# Spam Killer vs MapUs

The clearest difference is review sentiment: MapUs at 100% against Spam Killer's 50%. MapUs also leads on rating (4.7 vs 4.4) and ratings volume (110 vs 16). Spam Killer's advantage is ads (none vs shown). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Spam Killer sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days and MapUs sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

MapUs holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MapUs has 110 ratings behind it against 16, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 50% of Spam Killer's written reviews are positive against 100% of MapUs's.
