# FlockFriend vs Beak Keeper

FlockFriend and Beak Keeper both sit at 4.5 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Beak Keeper's written reviews are positive against 78% of FlockFriend's. Beak Keeper also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs fortnightly). On price, rating, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FlockFriend sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Beak Keeper sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

FlockFriend holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.3. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 2 and 3 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 78% of FlockFriend's written reviews are positive against 100% of Beak Keeper's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

FlockFriend ships an update fortnightly, Beak Keeper every 3 days. Both last shipped on November 5, 2026.
