# Case Files vs Asterlock Archives

The clearest difference is monetization model: Asterlock Archives at free against Case Files's free with in-app purchases. Case Files's advantage is device support and ratings volume (3 vs 1). On price, rating and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Case Files sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Asterlock Archives sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Case Files against 5.0 for Asterlock Archives. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 3 and 1 respectively.
