# Yaeum vs TOPIK Note

The clearest difference is rating: TOPIK Note at 4.8 against Yaeum's 2.0. TOPIK Note also leads on ratings volume (53 vs 1). Yaeum's advantage is ads (none vs shown). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Yaeum sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and TOPIK Note sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $10.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

TOPIK Note holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 2.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TOPIK Note has 53 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Yaeum ships an update every 6 days, TOPIK Note every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
