# Notee vs AI Notes

The clearest difference is monetization model: Notee at free with in-app purchases against AI Notes's subscription. Notee also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 5 weeks) and ratings volume (4.7K vs 2). AI Notes's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.8). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Notee sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days and AI Notes sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

AI Notes holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Notee has 4.7K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Notee ships an update weekly, AI Notes every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
