# Notee vs Vinyle

The clearest difference is rating: Notee at 4.8 against Vinyle's 4.2. Notee also leads on ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (4.7K vs 18). Vinyle's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 69%). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Notee sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days and Vinyle sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Notee holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Notee has 4.7K ratings behind it against 18, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 69% of Notee's written reviews are positive against 100% of Vinyle's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Notee ships an update weekly, Vinyle every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
