# Notee vs Scanner App

The clearest difference is ads: Notee at none against Scanner App's shown. Notee also leads on rating (4.8 vs 4.4) and ratings volume (5K vs 70). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Notee sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days and Scanner App sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Notee holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Notee has 5K ratings behind it against 70, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Notee ships an update weekly, Scanner App every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
