# Notee vs VoltBook

Notee and VoltBook both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of VoltBook's written reviews are positive against 69% of Notee's. Notee's advantage is ratings volume (5K vs 1) and chart position (#88 vs unranked). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Notee sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days and VoltBook sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

VoltBook holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Notee has 5K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 69% of Notee's written reviews are positive against 100% of VoltBook's.

Notee ships an update weekly, VoltBook every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
