# 9 vs Hunter's Codex

The clearest difference is device support: 9 at 3 against Hunter's Codex's 1. Hunter's Codex's advantage is iOS requirement (16.4 vs 18.6). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 9 sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Hunter's Codex sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
