# Barkbus vs BOSS Connect

The clearest difference is update cadence: BOSS Connect at every 5 days against Barkbus's fortnightly. BOSS Connect also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Barkbus ships an update fortnightly, BOSS Connect every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
