# Wheekeep vs Ombra

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Wheekeep at none against Ombra's 7. Wheekeep also leads on iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). Ombra's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (6 vs 1). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Ombra sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Wheekeep asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Wheekeep against 5.0 for Ombra. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Ombra has 6 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Wheekeep ships an update every 3 months, Ombra every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
