# Talktime vs Teachappy

The clearest difference is update cadence: Talktime at every 3 weeks against Teachappy's every 4 months. Teachappy's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Talktime ships an update every 3 weeks, Teachappy every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
