# SendIt vs PGP Messenger

The clearest difference is update cadence: PGP Messenger at every 2 days against SendIt's every 6 weeks. PGP Messenger also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

SendIt ships an update every 6 weeks, PGP Messenger every 2 days. Both last shipped on October 15, 2026.
