# Seent vs Beacon

The clearest difference is rating: Beacon at 5.0 against Seent's 4.6. Seent's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs every 3 weeks) and ratings volume (66 vs 7). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Beacon holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Seent has 66 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

Seent ships an update every 5 days, Beacon every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
