# The Hook vs Drop Them

The clearest difference is update cadence: The Hook at every 10 days against Drop Them's every 6 weeks. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. The Hook sells 5 one-off in-app purchases and Drop Them sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

The Hook ships an update every 10 days, Drop Them every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 5, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
