# Merch vs Apertrade

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Merch at none against Apertrade's 4. Merch also leads on ratings volume (57 vs 2). Apertrade's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, rating, update cadence and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Apertrade sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Merch asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Merch against 5.0 for Apertrade. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Merch has 57 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Merch ships an update fortnightly, Apertrade every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on October 31, 2026.
