# ThingsBook vs Curate!

The clearest difference is monetization model: Curate! at free against ThingsBook's free with in-app purchases. Curate! also leads on review sentiment (94% vs 72%) and update cadence (every 3 days vs fortnightly). ThingsBook's advantage is ratings volume (1.7K vs 33) and chart position (#50 vs unranked). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Curate! holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ThingsBook has 1.7K ratings behind it against 33, so its average is the more settled of the two.
