# FiberX vs Stad

The clearest difference is rating: Stad at 5.0 against FiberX's 4.0. Stad also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 58%) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). FiberX's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (51 vs 4). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Stad holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FiberX has 51 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 58% of FiberX's written reviews are positive against 100% of Stad's.

FiberX ships an update every 3 days, Stad every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
