# Exemplar vs Focus Maxxer

The clearest difference is update cadence: Focus Maxxer at every 2 weeks against Exemplar's every 5 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Exemplar sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Focus Maxxer sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Exemplar ships an update every 5 months, Focus Maxxer every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on October 30, 2026.
