# BetterKey vs LudyMeter

The clearest difference is update cadence: BetterKey at every 2 days against LudyMeter's every 6 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. BetterKey sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and LudyMeter sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

BetterKey ships an update every 2 days, LudyMeter every 6 months. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
