# BetterKey vs DocDigest

The clearest difference is update cadence: BetterKey at every 2 days against DocDigest's every 5 days. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. BetterKey sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and DocDigest sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

BetterKey ships an update every 2 days, DocDigest every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
