# Shared Shopping List vs Day

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Shared Shopping List at none against Day's 1. Shared Shopping List also leads on update cadence (every 4 days vs every 9 days) and iOS requirement (15.3 vs 18.6). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Day sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Shared Shopping List asks for nothing beyond the download.

Shared Shopping List ships an update every 4 days, Day every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
