# BoozeBuddy vs Mout

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: BoozeBuddy at none against Mout's 2. BoozeBuddy also leads on ratings volume (60 vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). Mout's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 5 months). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Mout sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. BoozeBuddy asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for BoozeBuddy against 5.0 for Mout. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: BoozeBuddy has 60 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
