# EmojiGen vs Smart Material Calculator

The clearest difference is device support: Smart Material Calculator at 3 against EmojiGen's 1. Smart Material Calculator also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. EmojiGen sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $9.99 per year and Smart Material Calculator sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
