# My Bobo vs PDF Scanner

The clearest difference is update cadence: PDF Scanner at every 3 days against My Bobo's weekly. PDF Scanner also leads on ratings volume (5 vs 1). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. My Bobo sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month and PDF Scanner sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for My Bobo against 5.0 for PDF Scanner. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PDF Scanner has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

My Bobo ships an update weekly, PDF Scanner every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on September 27, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
