# PicCal vs Timeplus

The clearest difference is update cadence: Timeplus at every 3 days against PicCal's every 2 months. Timeplus also leads on iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PicCal sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Timeplus sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

PicCal ships an update every 2 months, Timeplus every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
