# TextPort vs PDF Converter

The clearest difference is review sentiment: TextPort at 60% against PDF Converter's 0%. TextPort also leads on ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (1.5K vs 139). PDF Converter's advantage is rating (4.8 vs 4.4). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TextPort sells 15 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and PDF Converter sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

PDF Converter holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TextPort has 1.5K ratings behind it against 139, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 60% of TextPort's written reviews are positive against 0% of PDF Converter's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
