# Car Auto Play vs Car Play Connect

The clearest difference is ads: Car Auto Play at none against Car Play Connect's shown. Car Auto Play also leads on ratings volume (7.5K vs 229) and iOS requirement (16.4 vs 18.0). Car Play Connect's advantage is update cadence (every 9 days vs every 3 weeks). On price, rating, review sentiment and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Car Auto Play sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days and Car Play Connect sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
