# TimeCore vs Ember

The clearest difference is update cadence: TimeCore at every 5 days against Ember's monthly. TimeCore also leads on device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 26.0). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TimeCore sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Ember sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

TimeCore ships an update every 5 days, Ember monthly. The most recent releases landed on September 29, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
