# Sandbook vs Hopper

The clearest difference is update cadence: Hopper at every 3 days against Sandbook's weekly. Hopper also leads on iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Sandbook ships an update weekly, Hopper every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
