# Counter vs Count

The clearest difference is update cadence: Count at every 2 months against Counter's every 13 months. Counter's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.3 vs 17.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Counter sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days and Count sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Counter ships an update every 13 months, Count every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on September 29, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
