# Mint AI vs Peek Message

The clearest difference is update cadence: Peek Message at every 3 days against Mint AI's every 15 months. Peek Message also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and ratings volume (232 vs 1). Mint AI's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Mint AI sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days and Peek Message sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Mint AI holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Peek Message has 232 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Mint AI ships an update every 15 months, Peek Message every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
