# Temp Mail vs EmailOnDeck

The clearest difference is ads: Temp Mail at none against EmailOnDeck's shown. Temp Mail also leads on ratings volume (120 vs 4) and rating (4.7 vs 4.5). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Temp Mail sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and EmailOnDeck sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Temp Mail holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Temp Mail has 120 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

Temp Mail ships an update monthly, EmailOnDeck every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
