# Fiche vs Otto

The clearest difference is ads: Otto at none against Fiche's shown. Fiche's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs every 3 weeks). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Fiche sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Otto sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Fiche ships an update every 4 days, Otto every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
