# TipKeepr vs tiptap

The clearest difference is ads: tiptap at none against TipKeepr's shown. TipKeepr's advantage is ratings volume (116 vs 3) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TipKeepr sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $5.39 per month and tiptap sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for TipKeepr against 5.0 for tiptap. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TipKeepr has 116 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and September 14, 2026 respectively.
