# TipKeepr vs ShiftTip AI

The clearest difference is ads: ShiftTip AI at none against TipKeepr's shown. TipKeepr's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs every 6 weeks) and ratings volume (123 vs 1). On price, rating, review sentiment and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TipKeepr sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $5.39 per month and ShiftTip AI sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for TipKeepr against 5.0 for ShiftTip AI. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TipKeepr has 123 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

TipKeepr ships an update every 5 days, ShiftTip AI every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
